World Health Specialists （WHS） is a United States of America registered non-profit organization, established and incorporated in 2002. Since that time World Health Specialists has published on the Internet health information and identified information sources for health professionals and patients to fulfill its mission of improving the quality of health care for all. Aside from its traditional activities of obtaining and providing information to health caregivers and patients, World Health Specialists is embarking on establishing, state of the art, much needed treatment facilities for alcohol and chemical addiction diseases.

World Health Specialists was founded to address weaknesses in health care systems. It is believed by many public officials and the public, health care providers have the ability to provide complete and accurate information concerning prevention diagnosis and treatment of diseases.  Honest and competent health care providers, for decades have been voicing their concerns for the need for improvements in medical record keeping, diagnosing and prescribing treatments.

Computer technology advances and instant worldwide communications through the Internet has offered opportunities for patients and doctors to arrive at the correct diagnosis in much shorter times and have available therapies from all regions of the planet--- from ancient remedies handed down by generations in remote villages, along with treatments derived from years and millions of dollars of research in cosmopolitan megalopolises.

Despite technological advances, the vast majority of medical schools and medical students are not taking advantages of computer diagnostic programs or being exposed to computer databases which can memorize more than 15,000 diseases, and scores of signs, symptoms and lab tests associated with each disease. Medical students and doctors, still insist on relying on their memory of the few diseases studied in medical schools. Since doctors are extremely busy with administrative paperwork, they have limited time to devote to patients, less than 15 minutes an office visit. There is hardly time, after office visits to devote to research a correct diagnosis for a patient.

World Health Specialists, its donors and supporters, are able, with the most advanced software and comprehensive disease databases to assist doctors and patients to get the diagnosis right the first time, to prevent these tragedies.

Many patients have been unjustly denied therapies because of regulatory agencies, biases by doctors, or prejudices against other country’s or cultures practices.

World Health Specialists is dedicated to identifying world treatments and classifying them as journal and peer reviewed, as testimonials from patients, and as “home or village traditional remedies” and let the patient and medical personnel determine the therapy of choice. When possible WHS will provide, estimated costs, treatment centers, and medical personnel able to administer therapies.
